2.2km up in the early Himilayas, Shimla is the former summer capital of British India. It is green, pristine and clean. The people up here are also a little more 'sophisticated' than your average Indian, spending a lot of time in cafes. The dress style up here is the most liberal I have seen so far in India. Women are commonly seen on the street, totally opposite of what I have seen in most of Rajistan or even Delhi.
