The Elephant festival happens every year in Jaipur the day before Holi Day. Celebrations occur in a small stadium where locals perform ritual dances and sing. Elephants are then paraded, followed by a stumpingly fast game of elephant polo. At the end, tourists jump up on the elephants and throw coloured powder at each other and on the crowd.
